Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Snap up tickets for the Lobster Ball

PARTYGOERS still have time to snap up tickets for one of the North East’s most spectacular parties.

The annual fundraising Lobster Ball, at Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall Hotel, to be held on 21 April, is a highlight of the social calendar.

And this year guests are guaranteed A Night to Remember as 80s soul sensations Shalamar will be headlining an evening of entertainment in a grand marquee in the grounds of the hotel.

There will also be performances from six-piece band Sally Army and Shakedown, who will be performing a swing set, along with a fashion show featuring clothes from Durham’s award-winning Woven Gentlemen’s Outfitters and Newcastle-based Love Niche.

Tickets for the black-tie event include a four-course gourmet lobster surf and turf dinner, prepared by the award-winning chefs from The Rib Room Steakhouse and Grill, along with complimentary wine, lager and beer throughout the night.

The ball supports autism charity, Daisy Chain and has raised thousands of pounds for the worthwhile cause.

“The Lobster Ball just gets bigger and better every year,” said John Adamson, owner of Hardwick Hall Hotel, “and this year’s will be no exception”.

“It has a reputation for superb food and great entertainment, which is why tickets go so quickly and I would urge anyone who hasn’t already ordered theirs to do so.”

The Lobster Ball is supported by a range of sponsors including Great Annual Saving Group and Aston Martin.

Tickets, which cost £145 plus VAT each, are available by contacting the venue’s events team on 01740 620253 or by emailing events@hardwickhallhotel.co.uk.
