Stagecoach to Launch Express Coach Service from Tees Valley to Dalton Park and Newcastle

Bus passengers will can now shop til’ they drop with the introduction of a new express coach service by Stagecoach North East, which travels between Teesside and Hartlepool to Newcastle, via Dalton Park.

 

The local bus operator has launched its brand new X55 cross region express coach service from 20 May 2017, which will operate a return service every Saturday from Stockton, Greatham and Hartlepool to Dalton Park and Newcastle.

The coach service, which costs from £4.50 for a day return fare, will run up to three times every Saturday, and offers a wealth of shopping, entertainment and leisure opportunities at the outlet retail park in County Durham and Newcastle city centre.

Passengers can board the X55 coach services at various locations across the Tees Valley, including Hartlepool Marina and Hartlepool town centre, Billingham and Stockton. For further information and to download timetables, please visit https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/north-east/x55

Dalton Park Outlet Shopping and Leisure is delighted with the launch of the X55 service. Jerry Hatch, Centre Manager, Dalton Park, said: “After the successful launch of our leisure development last year we have received lots of feedback from our visitors wishing to visit Dalton Park from across the region using public transport. The new X55 express coach service from Stagecoach is a fantastic option for Saturday shoppers visiting from the North or South of the region.”

The Park hosts over 60 outlet shops ranging from home furnishings, sports and outdoor gear to luxury designer clothing, and includes stores such as Gap Outlet, M&S Outlet, Ernest Jones, Levis and Adidas. It also boasts a seven-screen cinema, as well as a range of cafes and restaurants and children’s play area.
