THE NORTH EAST’S biggest live music festival has teamed up with a leading coach company, to make it even easier for fans to see their favourite stars this summer.
Hardwick Live Festival returns to the grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel, at County Durham from 17 to 18 August, for two days of music and entertainment.
And festival organisers are taking the stress out of travelling to Sedgefield to see top names like Manic Street Preachers, James, The Zutons and Lisa Stansfield, with coaches running from various destinations across the region.
JH Coaches are putting on five different routes to pick up festival-goers from areas including Middlesbrough, Sunderland, South Shields, Billingham, Darlington, Durham, Chester le Street, Newton Aycliffe, Hartlepool, Newcastle and more.
Coaches will arrive at the grounds for 11:30am, with return journeys leaving at 11:15pm at the end of the day.
“We appreciate that many of our festival-goers don’t want to worry about having to bring their car to the event,” said John Adamson, who owns Hardwick Hall Hotel.
“We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for our visitors and JH Coaches have planned various routes across the region to make it even easier for those attending the festival to plan their day.
“The coach travel proved very popular last year so it was a no brainer to bring it back to help festival-goers have the best possible experience at the event.”
Music fans can also enjoy performances from Stiff Little Fingers, Ziggy Marley, Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge, Billy Bragg, The Sherlocks and The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club, with elite club brands Glitterbox and Retro taking over the Coachhouse Courtyard with some top DJs over the weekend.
Coach travel starts at £8.95 and to purchase, or to view full information on routes and pick up points, visithttp://www.jhminibreaks.co.uk/Tours/Hardwick-Live
