Teesside Interior Designers set for Showroom Launch

Middlesbrough based, Cocoon & Bauer, opened its brand-new showroom on Thursday November 21, when local businesses were invited to the unveiling on Albert Road.

Cocoon & Bauer provide high-end interior design services for commercial, residential and hospitality sectors, working with local businesses such as Visualsoft, Mabo and others across the country – including Michelin starred restaurants.

The new showroom exhibits various interior design choices including kitchen, office and living spaces, all of which include a range of textures, fabrics and furniture that have been carefully designed to show their skills.

Peter Turner, Managing Director at Cocoon & Bauer, said: “We’re launching to show people what we do, how we do it and see different styles in our interior design bays.

“The showroom feels like an apartment with various zones and themes that showcase our services and the potential of working with us.

“We invited friends and clients that we’ve worked with, including Middlesbrough Mayor, Andy Preston to make an appearance.”

After twelve years working in the industry, former Teesside University graduate, Peter, set up Cocoon & Bauer in 2017 when he spotted a gap in the market for luxury interior design. He recently employed two interior designers, Josh Ryan and Casey Hall.

The team are currently working on several exciting projects including Dickeybow Boutique in Leeds, owned by Karl Dickey, make-up artist to the stars and a number of hospitality projects that are looking to be finished before Christmas.

Cocoon & Bauer was previously based in BOHO 5, in Middlesbrough’s thriving digital district. However, to support the growing clientele and strength of the firm meant new premises were needed.

Peter continued: “We’ve always had the idea to open a shop, and Albert Road is continually growing as an attractive area for business.

“Now that we have moved, we are keen to sharpen our services, hopefully grow as a company and who knows, maybe launch shop number two.”
