Two new pop-up stores have launched at Teesside Park this month with the opening of gift and gadget retailer, Menkind, and the welcome return of the M&S Christmas pop-up shop.

For the third year running, the popular M&S Christmas pop-up has opened its doors. Filled with festive treats and essentials, from quirky Secret Santa gifts and kids’ stocking fillers, to seasonal homeware and decorations, the store is open now until 5th January 2020.

Menkind – the experts in fun gifts and gadgets – has also opened its temporary store just in time for the Christmas shopping season. Offering a huge variety of presents, from novelty toys and puzzles, to drones, speakers and headphones, it’s the perfect place to find unique and quirky gifts.

Mike Clarke, centre director at Teesside Park, said: “Menkind is a great addition for us – it has a really unique offering and opening its pop-up just as we get into the Christmas shopping period is the perfect timing.

“We’re also over the moon to bring back our M&S Christmas pop-up store which has been really popular with shoppers over the past couple of years.

“We love the Christmas period here. There’s always a great atmosphere and I’m sure that will be no different this year with the huge variety of brands we have on offer. We’ll be announcing our festive celebrations over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out!”

Christine Scarr, Store Manager at M&S Teesside Park, said: “Our Christmas pop-up shop is extremely popular with local customers and colleagues, so we are really excited to bring it back for a third year!

“We know how stressful shopping can be during the festive season so having a store dedicated to everything Christmas means that customers can come to start their shopping early. Having a separate store also means that we don’t have to reduce our clothing ranges at M&S Teesside.

“The pop-up has also allowed us to employ 10 temporary colleagues who will work in the Christmas store. We are looking forward to another busy festive period and can’t wait to get into the Christmas spirit with our local customers!
