Ged Flanagan, from Saltburn-by-the-Sea, has been appointed as an associate in the commercial litigation department and joins Endeavour Partnership from North East law firm, Bond Dickinson

Ged, who qualified in 2002, has vast experience in advising clients through areas such as litigation, mediation and arbitration and has managed cases in countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, India and Lebanon.

In addition, Ged also has expertise in working in the sports and entertainment sectors with prominent names including Boro’s Stewart Downing who he will continue to assist in his new role at Endeavour.

Endeavour Partnership, which now has a team of 45, is starting a period of recruitment as it continues with its planned growth for 2016, following a successful 2015 where the firm exceeded its anticipated development across the North East.

Ged said: “I am very much looking forward to being part of Endeavour’s development plans and seeing the business grow this year. I am joining a team that is thriving and has a real variety of work and I hope to build on this by using my specialist skills within the team.”

Lee Bramley, partner and head of litigation at Endeavour Partnership, said: “Ged has a vast amount of varied experience in so many sectors ranging from oil and gas, engineering and transport to education, sport and the entertainment industry. What’s more he has a real understanding of what we want to achieve in the region’s legal marketplace in the coming year as we continue to work with a mix of clients and attract high calibre talent from our partners through to our trainees. Ged is very well known and respected in his sectors of expertise and his appointment is a real boost for our firm as we start the year.”

Endeavour Partnership has a reputation spanning over 15 years and has continued to grow at its base at Teesdale in Stockton. In 2015, the firm enjoyed steady growth and underwent a period of restructuring during its 15th year in business.
