Teesside is set to dish out a whole host of foodie delights this weekend with the return of its popular food festival.
On Saturday 14th April (9am – 5pm) and Sunday 15th April (9am – 4pm), shoppers can enjoy a range of sweet and savoury delights from pizza and tacos to cupcakes and crêpes from one of 10 different stalls, hosted by passionate foodies from across the region.
Among the vendors will be Stockton-based The Little Korean, who will be serving up vegetable dumplings, gluten-free stir fry noodles and sweet pancakes, while Upex Pies offers a menu of classics including steak and gravy, chicken balti and pork pies.
Located between Mothercare and Superdrug, the festival will also include a range of free family games for all shoppers to enjoy, including a giant Jenga and Connect 4, table tennis and a selection of arts and crafts. A face painter and balloon modeller will also be on hand to keep the kids entertained.
Mike Clarke, Centre Director at Teesside, said: “Our food festivals are always popular with shoppers and create a nice atmosphere throughout the weekend.
“We’re especially pleased that all of the vendors we’re welcoming this weekend are from Teesside or nearby. It’s great to be able to support local businesses while also offering something different to our shoppers.”
Teesside’s food festival is returning to the centre for a fifth time, following its successful debut in 2014.
Teesside is open from 9.00am-8.00pm Monday to Saturday and 11.00am-5.00pm on Sunday.
