The Bannatyne Health Club in Ingleby Barwick is introducing the latest fitness sensation ‘Block Fit’ to its range of classes.
Devised by former X Factor star Chico, Block Fit offers 15 minutes of dance, 12 minutes of combat, 12 minutes of high intensity moves and 12 minutes of yoga inspired moves – mind body and soul in one class!
Chico himself led a training session with Bannatyne fitness instructors from across the North East and borders at the Myton Road health club. After they have completed the training course, the instructors will be able to teach the innovative fitness class to Bannatyne members throughout the region.
Blockfit is the big fitness trend in 2016 and can burn between 650 and 1,000 calories per class. The classes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Tom Carter, general manager at the Bannatyne health club in Ingleby Barwick, said:
“Block Fit is going to be the big fitness class in 2016 and we’re delighted to be offering it to our members.
“The mixture of dance, combat, intensity training and Yoga moves and meditation is really exciting and fantastic fun. We’re certain that members will love the new class. It’s something a bit different that everyone can take part in, no matter their fitness levels.”
