A Darlington-based property preservation firm has strengthened its team by adding 70 years’ industry experience to the business following an exceptional period of growth.

BCS Preservation, which specialises in providing environmental and building services throughout the UK, has experienced an increase of over 40 per cent in sales over the last 12 months.

As a result of this growth, the forward-thinking firm has employed Ian Hopkin and Richard Leckie as surveyors and Sarah Stainsby as contracts administrator.

Having worked in the preservation industry for almost 40 years, former managing director, Ian, brings a wealth of in-depth knowledge to the team.

“The skills I gained in my previous roles as a plasterer and surveyor will enable me to help enhance the team,” said Ian.

“BCS Preservation is continuously growing and I’m excited to play a part in the further development of the Company.”

With a 30-year career working with several national companies, Richard, who came out of retirement, will use his long-term understanding of the industry to develop BCS Preservation’s surveying team.

Sarah, who has several years’ administration experience, has been taken on to assist the contracts and admin teams and is hoping to use the organisational skills she gained in her previous roles to bring fresh ideas to the firm and help improve efficiency.

Managing Director of BCS Preservation, Aaron Davidson, expressed how thrilled he is with the Company’s growth and how he believes the business’ success is down to the team’s hard work and dedication.

He said: “It’s a very exciting time for BCS Preservation and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

“This is set to be a busy year for us and looking forward, we plan on expanding the team further by recruiting several technicians to help with the ever increasing workload.”
