After just over a year of successful trading, Cameo Digital has established an exclusive partnership with one of the region’s leading SEO talents. Gemma Neesham, previously Head of SEO at an award-winning agency in Newcastle, is now working alongside Cameo Digital MD, Charlotte McMurray, to deliver outstanding search marketing strategies for clients.

The pair worked together for over 4 years delivering campaigns for large national and regional brands including Warner Bros. and Berghaus. After almost a decade under the agency umbrella, Gemma decided to go it alone and went freelance a year ago.

The pair have recently secured substantial new business opportunities, including North East based travel and cycling business, Saddle Skedaddle. With over 20 years’ worth of expertise in their field, the brand delivers over 200 cycling holidays across 34 countries. As they look to explore new territories and plan to expand their business further in 2018, they sought the help of digital experts with a flexible, fresh approach to strategy and service delivery.

Gemma said of their latest pitch win; “I was delighted we were given the opportunity to pitch for Saddle Skedaddle. The brand is a huge local success story and their business has even more potential for huge success this year and beyond. We’re working with them on much more than just their digital campaigns, too, including consulting, helping to develop their existing marketing team and providing WordPress training.

“That’s the great thing of being part of a collective. Our strategies are genuinely delivering against the unique business needs of each client and thanks to a number of talented, senior professionals with experience in a range of disciplines within the collective, we can offer clients access to the right people who can make real impact.”

Charlotte and Gemma will be at Teesside Business Show at The Riverside Stadium (Middlesbrough Football Club) on 14th March to share unparalleled insight into why the traditional agency-client relationship is broken, and what business owners can do about it.
