The Go!Go!Go! Show, which launched in 2010, is a family pop musical experience featuring five actors including Carl Tracey, a talented performer headed to Newcastle to teach children who attend local part-time theatre school Razzamataz.

The special workshop for the students of Razzamataz Newcastle featured the most popular songs and dances from the series, which is loved by children of all ages.

“We are very excited to be bringing the Go!Go!Go! Show fun to the students of Razzamataz Newcastle,” says Carl. “The songs and dances from the show are great all round family entertainment and I’m sure the children are going to love learning them.”

The Children watched Carl perform some of the favourite songs and dances from the show and then learnt some of the routines for themselves. Toby from the Juniors group said “I think it was very inspiring and imaginative” while Holly from the Intermediate group exclaimed “He is an amazing dancer!”

For the younger age group, the show has a song called Questions Questions, which has a call and response verse which is fun to play with and gets the children thinking. Carl performed in his Go!Go!Go! Show costumes so there was plenty of colour and excitement throughout the day. With the older Students Carl focused on what it is like to work in “the industry.”

“Razzamataz is incredibly proud to bring top professionals in their field to work with our students,” says Kayleigh Redford, Principal of Razzamataz Newcastle. “It is a real privilege to have Carl to come visit us in Newcastle and we believe our students will benefit greatly from this fantastic experience. This workshop was for all of our students at no extra costs.”

The Nick Jnr workshop is just one of many specialist workshops that the Razzamataz Newcastle team plan to offer students after the schools successful launch in September. Razzamataz Newcastle is part of a network of schools founded by Denise Gosney. Denise appeared on BBC’s DragonsDen in 2007 and won an investment from Scottish entrepreneur Duncan Bannantyne.
