AMATEUR sleuths and budding Miss Marples are invited to an afternoon of cake and crime at an historic North East hotel.
On Sunday, 7 February, 600-year-old Lumley Castle, Chester-le-Street, will provide the setting for a Murder Afternoon Tea.
Following the discovery of a body, guests will be invited to turn detective and unmask the murderer, before settling down to a traditional afternoon tea of hand cut sandwiches and freshly baked cakes and pastries.
