Two popular, family pubs are promising customers a cracking Easter with fun and games – and the chance to raise money for charity.
The Sandpiper, at Farringdon Road, Cullercoats and The Runhead, Ryton, are each holding a children’s party on Easter Day, Sunday 21 April, with a chocolate egg for each child.
And, along with a face painter, costumed comic characters, a bouncy castle, egg painting and a magician, there will be a traditional egg hunt, with youngsters encouraged to find as many hidden chocolate eggs as possible.
The parties will take place from 1pm to 3pm and tickets cost £6 per child, with £1 of every ticket sold going to The Prince’s Trust, which helps improve the prospects of young people across the region.
The venues will also be serving Sunday lunch throughout the afternoon, priced at £9.95 for adults and from £4.95 for children.
