INDIE supergroup The Last Shadow Puppets have announced a Good Friday show at Middlesbrough Town Hall.
Artic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and pal Miles Kane’s band have added two new UK dates in Cambridge and Middlesbrough after their initial March and April tour dates across the globe instantly sold out.
The Middlesbrough Town Hall show will take place on Friday, March 25, as part of a tour in support of their new studio album ‘Everything You’ve Come To Expect’ to be released on April 1.
The Last Shadow Puppets are an award-winning group featuring Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner with co-frontman Miles Kane (ex-The Rascals), producer James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, ex-Simian), and Zach Dawes (Mini Mansions).
They have already teased the album with first single Bad Habits and announced several summer festival dates.
It has been a long wait for fans – the band’s first album was 2008’s The Age of the Understatement and Turner’s latest offering was 2013’s AM with the Arctic Monkeys.
Everything You’ve Come to Expect is produced by James Ford, who has worked on several Arctic Monkeys albums.
Rob Guest, Middlesbrough Town Hall Business Development Manager, said: “We’re delighted to play host to the Last Shadow Puppets. The Arctic Monkeys stormed the stage here at a sold-out show in 2007 and Miles Kane is no stranger to Teesside having played a number of shows at the Town Hall and Empire. We really can’t wait for this one – it promises to be a fantastic Good Friday!”
The Last Shadow Puppets play Middlesbrough Town Hall on Friday, March 25, 2016. Doors open at 7.00pm. Ages 14+.
Tickets are £35 and are on sale from 9am on Friday, February 19.
