YOUNG volunteers are needed help run the Record Breakers Summer Reading Challenge 2015 in libraries over the summer holidays.
The Record Breakers Summer Reading Challenge is for primary school-aged children and encourages them to read six books during the summer holidays.
Middlesbrough Libraries are looking for volunteers aged 15 to 24 to help sign children up for the challenge, help them choose books, give out incentives, support craft sessions and other activities relating to this year’s theme of Record Breakers.
It’s a great opportunity to improve communication skills, meet new people, get experience for your CV and make a difference to a child’s future.
