The Advanced Learner Loan is accessible for students aged 24 years or above studying on Further Education courses, including Access to HE programmes. It doesn’t need to paid back until you are earning £21,000, however if the loan is for an Access to Higher Education programme and you progress onto a Higher Education programme and complete it, the loan doesn’t need to paid back at all.
