Thirteen will shortly welcome the first residents to its new housing scheme in Stockton.
West End Gardens is an exciting development of houses, bungalows and apartments in the centre of Stockton that offers a broad range of homes for affordable rent.
The development is being delivered by Thirteen in partnership with Stockton Borough Council.
This week, the first six two-bedroom homes of a 65 unit scheme have been handed over to Thirteen by regeneration and house building specialist, Keepmoat.
Situated off Dovecot Street West End Gardens has a range of two and three bedroom houses as well as bungalows and apartments for affordable rent.
The new homes have a range of features including oven, hob and extractor, dining or breakfasting kitchens, off street parking, and great family bathrooms with showers.
Martin Hawthorne, director of development and regeneration at Thirteen, said:
“This development forms part of our strategy to increase the availability of quality, affordable rented housing in Stockton-On-Tees and across the Tees Valley.
“This mixture of new houses, bungalows and apartments, not only provides much-need housing but stimulates the ongoing development of a sustainable and vibrant community in the area.”

Councillor Mike Smith, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Housing, said:
