Former Middlesbrough Football Club players Andy Collett and Neil Maddison joined the Leader of the Council, Councillor Bob Cook to present the certificates.
Councillor Cook, said: “Congratulations to everyone involved. Apprenticeships have so much to offer and are about up-skilling our people and supporting the local economy. During National Apprenticeship Week we want to remind employers that opening their doors to apprentices can give their business a boost and for young people an apprenticeship can be the first step onto a career ladder and a long road to success.”
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Learning and Skills Service organised the event to promote apprenticeships and celebrate achievements of the Borough’s apprentices.
