Bishop Auckland Table Tennis club is holding an open day for the community to come and check out the new table tennis centre at Bishop Barrington School.
Activities will include the Table Tennis Robot with prizes for the winning scores, Table Top Games and our award-winning coaches will be there for hints and tips along with some of the county’s top players taking on challenges or you can simply enjoy a social hit around.
Matthew Porter Club Chairman: “The aim of our open day is show the local community that the club is about table tennis for everyone and you don’t have to be a good player to come and enjoy the sport and the new facility. We want everyone in the area to be able to enjoy the facility and what the club offers. So come on now and have some fun playing table tennis.”
So whether you’re a curious first-timer or a seasoned professional, BATTC encourages you to come down and try out a new activity, who knows, you might just surprise yourself.
The Community Open Day will officially start at 10:00am and run though till 3:00pm.
There’s no need to sign up, just turn up on the day and try a range of table tennis activities for free.
