MORE than 850 runners and cyclists enjoyed the excitement of the increasingly popular Stockton Duathlon festival this past Sunday (26 April).
The run-cycle-run event took place over Novice, Standard and Sprint distances to ensure that participants of all abilities would find an appropriate level at which to compete or tackle personal fitness challenges.
Both competitors and spectators alike enjoyed the pleasant weather conditions at the festival which set off from Stockton Riverside and followed a fully closed road circuit around Stockton Town Centre.
