Newcastle Falcons today launch their new home kit for the 2015/16 season ahead of its first outing at tomorrow’s Kings of the North competition opener against Sale Sharks.
Produced by official kit supplier Gilbert Rugby the predominantly black kit features graduated grey accents on the shoulders as well as on the shorts.
The shirt features the logos of the club’s three Official Partners with Fairstone on the front upper shirt and shoulders, Bidvest Food Services on the right sleeve and Ward Hadaway Law Firm on the reverse of the shirt.
The match authentic player shirts and replicas both have the Gilbert Premium crew neck and, like the white away strip, match the player authentic shirts in design. Replica shirts have a more relaxed fit though, with less elasticity in the material following fan feedback last season.
Predominantly black shorts with similar graduated grey accents and black socks with a steel grey top and logos complete the Falcons’ home kit for the season ahead.
This latest kit joins the white, blue and grey strip released last month as the club’s away and European Challenge Cup kit for the season ahead.
Newcastle Falcons will not release a third or European-specific strip this season, although a special charity shirt will be produced for the club’s Legends game on 2nd October.
Replica shirts are available to pre-order either from the club shop or online, with stock expected in-store within the next month.
