High Jinx 1Families across the North East can conjure up a last-minute stocking filler, thanks to one of the region’s best-loved events.

Tickets for the South Tyneside International Magic Festival, which returns for its 12th year in March 2015, have been released early, offering the ideal gift for magic fans of all ages

The week-long event, organised by South Tyneside Council and TV magician John Archer, will feature a series of performances in schools, along with three public shows at the Customs House, South Shields

For young magic fans, gift givers can opt for the Family Magic Extravaganza on Wednesday March 11, featuring a line-up of top North East talent in association with MagicBox.

And, for friends and relatives of all ages, there is a choice of two International Gala Shows on Friday March 13 or Saturday March 14, both featuring a host of magicians and performers from around the world.

This includes comedy magicians Michael Finney and The Great Nardini, mind readers Luke Jermay, Satori and Atlas and Looch and family entertainer Dave Andrews.

They will be joined by illusionists High Jinx and Diamond and Jade, and event co-organiser John Archer, star of CBBC show Help My Supply Teacher is Still Magic.

To conjure up the perfect gift for professional magicians and the most ardent magic fans, the South Tyneside International Magic Festival is also offering tickets to its three day convention.

This includes entry to the two Gala Shows outlined above, along with a series of lectures, close up sessions and an exclusive midnight show running at the Customs House from Friday March 13 to Sunday March 15.
