North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

downloadA HALLOWEEN Spooktacular is being presented at Middlesbrough Theatre on two nights in October.

The Pauline Quirke Academy Tees Valley is presenting the show which promises an evening of “thrills, spills and plenty of gore”.

The shows will take place at the venue, on The Avenue, Linthorpe, at 7pm on both Sunday, October 25 and Monday, October 26.

Those attending “will be taken on a journey through the macabre and more unknown musicals of our time. There may be smiles through song and dance but we can ensure you will sit uneasy in your seat throughout.”

Tickets are £8 or £6 for concessions and available from Middlesbrough Theatre in person, by visiting www.middlesbroughtheatre.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01642 815181 or 01642 729729.

Middlesbrough’s libraries will also be offering a “screamingly good Halloween” through a series of events throughout the town offering stories, craft activities and prizes for best fancy dress.

The events are suitable for those aged three-12 and will take place at Acklam Library on Tuesday, October 27 from 11am-noon, at Easterside Library on the same day from 1.30pm-2.30pm and at Hemlington Library from 2.30pm-3.30pm, again on the same day.

A final event will be held at Central Library on Thursday, October 30, from 2pm-3pm. Booking is not necessary.
