Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

ITV Studios Global Entertainment is proud to announce its releases for June 2019

From BAFTA-winning screenwriter, Jeff Pope, this gripping thriller tells the inside story of one of the most spectacular crimes of the last decade – the Hatton Garden heist.

Cannes Film Festival Best Actor Award winner Timothy Spall, Olivier award-winning actor Kenneth Cranham and BAFTA winner Brían F. O’Byrne play leading roles. Fellow distinguished actors David Hayman, Alex Norton, Geoff Bell join them to play the men responsible for the daring raid. Ian Puleston-Davies and Nasser Memarzia also star.

Over one Easter weekend, millions of pounds worth of jewels and cash were stolen from a high-security vault in the heart of London’s world famous diamond district. Over four tension-fuelled episodes, Hatton Garden plunges viewers into the action as this daring, meticulously planned heist unfolds. Following the destinies of the perpetrators, and the rivalries that emerged as they squabbled over the spoils, it shows how getting into the vault was only half the job – getting away with it was even more complex.

The series depicts the devastating impact on the victims of the heist – many were small family businesses that lost everything. But by simultaneously tracking the complex police operation that closed in on the gang, we see exactly how this audacious, headline-grabbing crime ultimately unravelled.

Featuring a line-up of Scandinavia’s most acclaimed creative talents, both on and off-screen, high-octane drama Greyzone delivers a thrilling and timely story of individual responsibility and complex decisions, centred on the days leading up to a terror attack.  When a brilliant drone engineer, Victoria, is taken hostage, a series of dangerous events are set into motion. Her captor is part of a terror cell planning an attack in Scandinavia – and they have chosen Victoria to access the components they need from her company, SparrowSat.

Across ten heart-stopping episodes, Victoria must risk everything to steal the equipment, while also working as a double agent for the security police who will do anything to stop the attack. However, beneath the hate, fear and prejudice, real feelings start to emerge between Victoria and her captor. But are they able to truly look past their differences and can the attack be averted?
