Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Taking place at Quorum Business Park on March 8 from 9am-12.30pm, ‘Showbiz 2017’ is an annual information and networking event inviting local businesses to share their knowledge and learn more about the business world.

Tying in with National Apprenticeship Week, this year’s theme is ‘Skills for Business Growth’ It includes an exhibition area packed with providers offering support, advice and funding for apprenticeship, skills and training for growing your business in 2017.

There will also be a main stage theatre-style area with keynote speakers such as former BBC business journalist Penny Halsam, the North East Local Enterprise Partnership and motivational speaker David Hyner, who will be looking to enlighten, motivate and inspire.

Following the presentations, there will be quick-fire seminars with business leaders from RSM and Accenture, as well as a free networking lunch for attending businesses.

David Rose, Chairman of the North Tyneside Business Forum, said: “The event is set to be a motivating and educational morning, with a chance for local businesses to set out their business growth plans, and find out what support is out there to help as well as meet new contacts and network

“Apprenticeships play a critical part in our current and future local workforce, and every business should be aware of the new levies and access routes for apprenticeships. The organisations at the event offer excellent and easy to digest information on what they need to do and how to access relevant recruitment, training and funding”.

North Tyneside-based businesses can get tickets at no charge, but tickets cost £10 for businesses coming from outside the borough. Advance booking is essential
