In the season of giving, a Teesside housebuilding team, that has developments across the region, has presented a cheque for over £18,000 to its 2024 chosen charity, the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
The team, which constructs homes across Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire participated in a number of events and initiatives including undertaking the Cleveland Four Peaks twice (once in the day and once after dark), completing the challenging GYRO 90 cycle event, attending the annual GNAAS ball and hiring the conference facilities for hosting corporate events. Plus, the Miller Homes head office challenge, Active April, where employees log steps in order to improve health and wellbeing and provide a cash boost for their chosen regional charities.
“We’ve had another fantastic fundraising year for GNAAS, and our thanks go to everyone who has taken part in the challenges themselves or donated,” said Mark Bayliss, Regional Managing Director, Miller Homes Teesside. “We are absolutely thrilled to have raised this money for this amazing charity which has a special place in our hearts, and in those of the community which we are proud to be part of.”
GNAAS is a charity which receives no NHS funding and offers a vital service across Teesside, the Northeast, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man. It’s skilled team of paramedics, pilots and doctors have three helicopters at their disposal which operate from bases in Penrith, Cumbria and Eaglescliffe, Country Durham.
