One of the North East’s premier music festivals is experiencing the greatest sales rush in its three year history.
Hardwick Live, held annually in the grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield, returns on Saturday August 22, with a leading line up headlined by the legendary James.
Due to unprecedented demand organisers, Ramside Estates, have now released an extra 1000 tickets for the one day event, which will also feature Main Stage performances by very special guests Razorlight, plus 10cc, Embrace and The Beat.
Additional camping pitches have also been created at nearby Humble Knowle Farm to cater for the influx, while JH Coaches, Sunderland have now agreed to supply coaches for festival-goers on three set routes around the North East.
Hardwick Live 2015 will feature three stages of live entertainment, including the Main Stage and a dome, hosting comedy performances during the afternoon and DJ sets into the night.
For the first time in the festival’s three year history there will also be a Discovery Stage, showcasing the stars of tomorrow, which is being headlined by Britpop legends Cast.
Tickets for the family friendly event have been in high demand since going on sale in March and Ramside Estates hope that releasing an additional 1000 with just weeks to go will help to cater for the adults, young people and children who still want to attend.
Having sold out the initial camping allocation for the festival, the company has also partnered with the five acre Humble Knowle Farm, around 10 minutes’ drive from Hardwick Hall Hotel, to provide additional pitches for 120 tents.
Sunderland-based JH Coaches has also agreed to run coaches along three routes, with 12 designated pick-up points for festival goers travelling in from across Tyne and Wear and County Durham.
John Adamson, owner of Ramside Estates, said: “Hardwick Live 2015 will feature some of the biggest names in British music, past, present and future.
This amazing line-up, headlined by James, has led to an exceptionally high demand for both tickets and accommodation and we are delighted to be able to now offer more of both to festival goers from across the UK.
“I would like to thank both Humble Knowle Farm and JH Coaches for their support.”
