An evening of live music and curry is being held this week to celebrate the launch of a new, North East beer.
On Friday (November 27), 1879 Events Management will host Beer and Buskers at National Glass Centre, Sunderland.
The event, in partnership with Brewlab and Darwin Brewery, will mark the launch of the venue’s new beer, Gaffer’s Quaff.
Guests will be among the first to sample the new tipple, while enjoying live music from various North East buskers, including Lauren Amour, Nearly Dennis, Aimee Lambert and Harry Smethurst.
A special Indian-inspired buffet will also be served, including vegetable samosas, bhajis and pakoras, curries ranging from Chicken Korma to Vindaloo, selected accompaniments such as Poori Breads, naans and rice and a mango tart dessert.
Steve Welch, Executive Head Chef at 1879 Events Management, which also manages private and corporate events at National Glass Centre said: “We are really excited to be supporting the launch of Gaffer’s Quaff and have developed a menu that will specifically complement this fantastic new drink.
“I hope that guests thoroughly enjoy the taste of both and take the opportunity to see some amazing, North East musical talent too.”
