A NORTH East entrepreneur has officially launched an empowering ladies fashion brand designed to celebrate women in their late 20-40s.
Make No Apologies, created by busy working mum Maeve Davies, has successfully grown in the last year and is now ready to take the next step following a £40k investment.
After six months of planning, MNA’s summer 2019 collection has officially landed online with a broad range of bright pastel tees now available; perfect for summer styling.
Following huge interest in children’s items, MNA has also introduced a selection of fun-loving tees, all with a connection to the adult t-shirts such as ‘Honey ‘Bee’, ‘True’ ‘Love’ and ‘Tickled’ ‘Pink’.
Working with a Belgium manufacturer based on their company values, all items are created using organic cotton or recycled materials. Furthermore, it’s part of the Fair Wear Foundation, an independent, non-profit organisation that works to improve conditions for workers in garment factories ensuring money is going direct to the workers and that no sweat shops are involved.
Maeve Davies, managing director at Make No Apologies, said: “I am delighted to launch our summer 2019 collection. This collection was all about colour and having fun, but still ensuring that we had stylish designs that would appeal to all.
“When I launched the brand, it was really important to me that we represented a strong message. Living in a such a judgmental society, whether it’s about size, race, religion etc, I wanted to get a message across that we should never apologise for who we are but stand united as a human race, and that is how Make No Apologies was born. I’m excited for the future of the brand and what lies ahead for us.”
