A NORTH East recruitment agency which has set up a specialised division for the hospitality industry is celebrating after landing a major contract.
Labour4U (L4U) based at Cobalt Business Park, Wallsend has now set up Hospitality4U, providing staff at all levels for hotels, bars and to service special events.
And although in operation for just a short amount of time, the company has won a contract to provide staff at Newcastle Racecourse and is also in talks with a number of other leading hospitality venues in the region.
“We are delighted to be working with the racecourse and providing staff to them for their special events,” said Jon Bell, Director of H4U.
“It’s a very busy venue and obviously it’s very important that they have capable, presentable and reliable staff which we’ve been able to provide.”
Alan Bell, Catering Staffing Manager, at Newcastle Racecourse praised the staff provided by the company.
“The staff were well presented, polite and displayed excellent customer service to all our guests but above all, the standard of skill was above what we have experienced from other agencies in the past,” he said.
H4U is also looking to recruit more staff to add to its hospitality team, with the promise of a wide variety of work available.
The company, set up by Jon with Sunderland entrepreneur Tony Griffiths, has gone from strength to strength, tripling its turnover in a year.
It is now diversifying into providing staff in a number of other sectors including construction, healthcare and for the oil and gas industry.
