Recently named as the UK’s Large Hotel of the Year, Rockliffe Hall is opening its doors to the region’s marketers for a CIM event in its newest venue; a stunning glasshouse.
Rockliffe Hall announced plans for the £750,000 development earlier this year, which will be called Mischmasch; inspired by a periodical written and illustrated by Lewis Carroll for his family. Guests at the event will be some of the first to see the new glasshouse, which is part of the development adjacent to the kitchen gardens.
Katie Scott, Rockliffe Hall’s sales and marketing manager will discuss how storytelling through its marketing strategy has developed this five-star brand into one of the UK’s best loved resorts. Emma Greenwood, who is organising the event on behalf of CIM, said: “I am really excited about this event; we are absolutely delighted that Rockliffe has invited us to share its marketing best practice for such an eagerly awaited development. Attendees will not only gain marketing know-how, but also be treated to an early reveal of the new parkland.”
Other features of the ‘Wonderland of Curiosities’ will include an Alice in Wonderland nature trail and Sculptures, a large Eco Adventure Playground, interactive water fountains and a maze. A main feature of Mischmasch will be six Arctic Pods, nestled in the woodland, featuring different indoor experiences including interactive and electronic games and the start of a journey to ‘Find the Cheshire Cat’.
The event, entitled ‘Engaging Customers through storytelling’ will be held on 21 September and is open to CIM members and non-members.
