Billingham-based building and construction firm, RPD Builders, has appointed Katie Davison as the company’s new Client Liaison Officer.
The firm, which has just hit the £1m turnover mark, is keeping it in the family with the appointment of Katie, 21, who is the daughter of Peter Davison, founder and owner of RPD Builders.
Katie, who studied Events Management at the University of Wales Trinity St David and is due to graduate later this year, will be responsible for enhancing the after-sales care at RPD Builders and ensuring the ongoing provision of high-level customer service for clients.
She will co-ordinate with customers throughout projects and after to ensure they are happy with the company’s work and will also be responsible for ongoing marketing support.
Katie Davison said: “I’ve grown up with RPD Builders, watching my dad build the company during the past 12 years and I am extremely proud of what he has achieved. I know exactly how the business works and know how to avoid the boss when he’s in a mood!
“I’m delighted to become a member of the team at RPD Builders and am looking forward to helping my dad move the company forward to future growth.”
Peter Davison, founder and owner of RPD Builders, said: “This is a new position that we have created to enhance the top-quality customer service that we offer and I couldn’t think of anyone better than my daughter for the role. She knows the ethos and the workings of the business inside out and is as proud of the company as I am.
“At RPD, we pride ourselves on our ability to connect with our customers to understand and achieve their vision, so we’re thrilled to welcome Katie to the team to enhance the excellent customer service that we continue to offer.”
