Newcastle United supporters who have yet to renew their season tickets for 2016/17 will now have until Friday 8th July to secure their existing seat.
Stephen Tickle, Ticketing Operations Manager for the Club said:
“The demand for season tickets has been huge, which is credit to our fantastic fans. Renewal applications are still coming in thick and fast, so we’ve extended the deadline to give supporters more time to renew their current seat.”
In the meantime, supporters are still able to pick up unreserved seats and supporters have been quick to snap up all available seats in the 8,200-capacity Family Area and popular South East corner.
There is still currently availability in most other areas of the ground and, once the renewal deadline has passed, supporters will be able to pick up any reserved seats that were not renewed.
Supporters wishing to join a waiting list for a sold-out area (Family Area, South East corner) are asked to apply as normal now.
If seats in these areas are not renewed by Friday 8th July, they will be allocated to applicants on the waiting list before Thursday 14th July.
