A leading North East photo experience events company is refusing to be beaten by COVID-19 and has taken steps to bolster their products and their team for when restrictions are lifted.

SK Click Events has now in total invested £150,000 in the Middlesbrough based business that provides an array of event support region wide. This investment includes the purchase of photo booths, photo mirrors, hand held selfie products, props, backdrops and high end tech solutions for imagery based marketing.

The systems collect GDPR compliant data from events, and start screens and photo overlays can be completely bespoke for weddings, private parties and corporate events, awards or launches.

And now the company has invested in a number of new products, despite events being on hold. They have also started a campaign to create jobs, as they are confident that once the events industry is allowed to trade again, there will a surge in business. Owner and operations director, Kirsty Calvert said:

“We are really excited to unveil our new, unique to the area products. Firstly the new SK Glam Cam Pro. A sexy, brightly lit round mirror, that boasts a panel ideal for advertising via video or photos. The technology means that digital overlays and personalised touch start screens lends it perfectly to corporate events, product launches and retail events.

“We also invested in a fun hand-held rubber ball, that is a high end, quality selfie station – named the SK Orb, this is unique in the area and is ideal for personal events and corporate uses including team building or celebrations. The new SK Table Selfie Pro is fun, bright and technologically advanced too… ideal for passing around a table at an evening event, the sharp funky product is a real talking point.

“And finally, we also invested in a range of new back drops, new table covers and whole range of new props – all we need now is to be allowed to hold events safely and we can roll out the new and existing range for us all to enjoy!!”

The forward thinking business is looking for a number of new staff, with appointments due to take place in the coming weeks.
