STAND Up Stand Up is a dark comedy, hilarious and heart-breaking in turns.

Chris Hannon stars as struggling comedian Colin – caught between the ever present promise of hitting the big time and the impending reality of getting a ‘proper job’.

When intimidating bailiff Biff (Andrew Westfield) turns up at Colin’s front door to collect on his debts, the two strike up an unlikely rapport and realise they could be the answer to each other’s problems.

Packed full of hilarious one-liners and poignant observations, Stand Up Stand Up is about finding friendship and hope in the most unlikely places.

Jim Cartwright is known for his internationally- acclaimed work across stage and screen, including Road, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (winner of both an Olivier Award and Evening Standard Best Comedy Award) and Two.

Cartwright is one of a small group of dramatists who can write plays that are loved by people who don’t necessarily like theatre’The Guardian
