In the 2017 Parliamentary elections the Labour Party held the Stockton North seat and the Labour Party won the Stockton South seat.
The results in Stockton North were as follows:

| FLETCHER Mark Peter | Conservative Party | 15,589 |
| ROBSON Emma | Green Party | 358 |
| STRIKE Ted | UK Independence Party | 1,834 |
ALEX CUNNINGHAM is therefore duly elected as Member of Parliament for the Stockton North constituency. The turnout was 64.6%.
The results in Stockton South were as follows:

| FITZGERALD Jo | Green Party | 371 |
| OUTTERSIDE David Michael | UK Independence Party | 1,186 |
| WHARTON James Stephen | Conservative Party | 25,214 |
| WILLIAMS Paul Daniel | Labour Party | 26,102 ELECTED |
PAUL DANIEL WILLIAMS is therefore duly elected as Member of Parliament for the Stockton South constituency. The turnout was 71.3%.
