A new way to keep fit and have fun in the water is coming to Stokesley this week.
Synchronised swimming is a sport that mixes swimming and dancing and includes both water and land-based dance elements.
Funded by North Yorkshire Sport, Stokesley Leisure Centre is holding a special taster session on Saturday 28 January from 3.30 – 4.30pm targeted at 14 – 25 year olds.
The event will allow anyone interesting in taking up the sport to find out more, watch a demonstration from Gateshead Synchro Club and even get in the pool to have a go.
Booking is essential and costs £2 per person.
Following on from the session ‘Stokesley Synchro Social Sessions’ will start every Saturday from 3.30 – 5.30pm for ages 14 – 25 yeas only, £2 per class.
