GOLFERS are being invited to take part in a fundraising drive for a North-East charity by taking part in a luxurious golf day.
The Butterwick Corporate Golf Classic takes place amid the glorious setting of Rockliffe Hall, at Hurworth-on-Tees, near Darlington, on September 5.
Rockliffe is one of Europe’s longest and most challenging courses and the event gets underway with a shotgun start at 1pm.
The day features breakfast on arrival, a “Beat The Pro” competition, longest drive and nearest the pin contests, and evening dinner.
Concierges will also park your car and clean your shoes and clubs as part of the luxurious package.
The event is being sponsored by Towergate Insurance, with the chance to win a car by landing a hole in one.
Organiser Patricia Boynton said: “This is a chance to play golf in real style in a beautiful, relaxed setting, while supporting a charity that does priceless work.”
