Tolent Homes has appointed CSIS-UK as the interior designer ahead of its inaugural show home opening weekend this summer.
A new venture for the Gateshead-based contractor Tolent, its new homes development was launched in late 2018 to create 100 new homes on the former Sedgefield Community Hospital site.
The development, Hardwick Grange, takes inspiration from the local natural beauty and history of Hardwick Hall and Park and offers a collection of three, four and five bedroom homes.
Operating from the Fish Quay in North Shields, the six-strong team at CSIS have been around since 2011, offering its bespoke interior design services in both commercial and residential sectors.
Having worked for other house builders in the area, the team, led by creative director Chris Senior, jumped at the chance to work with a new brand in the market.
“It’s been really exciting working with a new homes brand, helping to establish the look and feel of the exceptional new homes Tolent is creating,” said Chris.
“Interior design is more than just furniture and paint, we aim to positively impact how people are able to live and enjoy their homes. For Tolent, we want to help create an experience for potential customers coming to view their future home, balancing the feel of countryside living with the executive style of the buildings.
“We can’t wait to get started!”
David Dixon, head of new homes developments at Tolent, said: “We know how to build great homes as we’ve been doing this for the past 30 years for a range of clients, so we’re really looking forward to now creating our own homes, and the lifestyle that comes with it.
“CSIS will help us to achieve this in designing two show homes to inspire those that come to visit, and showcasing an exceptional standard of living on offer at Hardwick Grange.”
Prices on the development range from £140,000 to £435,000 and show homes are expected to launch early August 2019.
The sales pavilion is open Thursday to Monday, 10.00am to 17.00pm.
