Law firm Sintons has worked with a North East training company to devise three bespoke programmes as part of its dual commitment to developing its people and delivering excellence in client service.

First impressions are vital for Sintons’ clients visiting The Cube headquarters and training sessions were created for its reception and front of house staff to help develop skills in customer care, team working and time efficiency.

In addition, Amacus delivered two courses over three days for members of the North East Solicitor Apprenticeship (NESA) programme, three of whom are at Newcastle-based Sintons, to develop their skills in delivering presentations and time management, which will prove vital alongside their legal training in their budding careers.

Amacus trainers hosted the sessions at Sintons’ headquarters The Cube, and feedback has been hugely positive from delegates, who hailed the training as being “very beneficial to their professional development”.

Claire Atkins, Head of HR at Sintons, who worked alongside Amacus to develop the training programmes, said: “At Sintons, we have an ongoing commitment to giving our people opportunities to develop their skills, which in turn can help build their careers, and these three sessions have worked very well for everyone involved. They were developed to the exact requirements of the people involved, and the outcomes have been very positive.

“It was also great for Sintons to offer the two courses to our solicitor apprentices – having been involved in NESA since its inception three years ago. It is always a pleasure to be able to create further opportunities for these talented young people to thrive.

“Amacus were a very good partner in these projects, they invested the time to understand our requirements and created a programme to meet our needs as a business, as well as those of the participants.”

Christine Hall, Managing Director at Hartlepool-based Amacus, said “We are delighted to have worked with Claire and her team. The approach taken to design and deliver these bespoke training programmes is a true testament of excellent partnership working and as a result the training programmes have proved highly successful for all involved.”
