Treat dad to a spa experience for Father’s Day

Father's DayA leading North East spa is offering people the opportunity to give the gift of relaxation this Father’s day.

The award-winning Spa at Ramside, at Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham, is offering a range of gift vouchers to treat dad to on Sunday 19 June.

The gift vouchers include a Dad’s The Word package, an On Par For Spa golfers package and a Man Up And Spa day package.

Dads gifted the On Par For Spa voucher can expect a round of golf on one of Ramside Hall Hotel’s two golf courses, a light lunch in the clubhouse, followed by two hours in the spa.

Those wanting to treat dad to a full spa day will need the Man Up And Spa gift voucher, which includes a two course lunch in the spa’s Asian restaurant – Fusion, a full day using the spa’s facilities and either a one or two hour treatment.

The £8m spa opened in August 2015 and offers five pools including one of the UK’s biggest hydrotherapy pools and an outdoor infinity pool, 14 treatment rooms, a thermal suite, a Sleep Sanctuary with soundwave therapy beds and a Rasul mud chamber.

Jill Russell, Spa Director at the Spa at Ramside, said: “We made a conscious effort throughout the planning process to ensure the spa catered just as much for men as it did for women, and we think this shows in our Father’s Day packages.

“With two 18-hole championship golf courses on site, we wanted to incorporate golfing into the spa packages but we also have tailored packages for dads who would just enjoy a day unwinding in the spa.

“We look forward to welcoming families to the spa this Father’s Day and treating dads to the well-earned break they deserve.”

Gift vouchers are valid between 6-12 months from the date of purchase.
