Wasley Chapman Announces New Partner

North East accountancy firm, Wasley Chapman, is pleased to announce the appointment of new partner, Mark Porritt. Mark has been with the firm for over 10 years, and has contributed to the continued success of the company, which first opened almost 100 years ago.

Based in 6 locations around the North East, the popular firm is delighted to have a new partner on board alongside the 3 current partners Philip Cuthbert, Neil Duell & Neil Taylor.

Mark joined the firm in 2002 after studying accounting and finance at Teesside University and went on to become a fully qualified accountant in 2006.

Starting off his career as an accounts junior, Mark, who has worked his way up through the company, and was made manager in 2010, now boasts a wide portfolio of clients.

On the promotion, Mark said “I’m thrilled to become a partner at Wasley Chapman. It’s been a pleasure to be part of the team and I’m excited to help develop and shape the company further going forward. I believe the secret to success is being able to talk to clients on their level and develop a good understanding of their business.
