Steve Walker, Managing Director, Stagecoach North East, said: “The unirider ticket is an excellent offering for young people across the region to explore their own town and discover what’s happening in the rest of the region, whether that be gigs or concerts, festivals, shopping, family visits or simply getting around town on a day-to- day basis.
“It means students don’t have to bother with finding the right money, looking for taxis or walking home in bad weather, and can be used any time of the day or night. As college and university life can be stressful, with exams and essays, it is one less thing to worry about when juggling academic study and making the most of their freedom and having fun!”
