Ahead of significant investment in its tailoring department, Psyche, the Middlesbrough-based designer store, has created the perfectly fitting shirt.
With 35 years’ experience in the tailoring sector, which has led to an in depth understanding of its customers and target markets, the leading retailer set out to create the perfect shirt.
After 12 months in development, its tailoring experts are confident they have achieved that goal.
Their painstaking attention to detail in conjunction with testing and checking their creation on a large variety of men has led to a shirt that fits many different body shapes.
Steve Cochrane, owner of Psyche, based in Linthorpe Road, said: “It has taken a year to develop this own brand shirt, which demonstrates our painstaking attention to detail and how good design cannot be rushed.
“The shirt, which comes in different shapes and sizes is testament to the expertise of our tailoring specialists.”
Crafted in luxurious sateen cotton stretch, the new Psyche shirt has a premium, timeless appeal. Looking stylish with or without a tie means that it is a versatile wardrobe addition as it can be dressed up or dressed down. It will retail for £59.99.
Psyche recently more than doubled its range of men’s suits ahead of a significant investment in its tailoring department.
Mr Cochrane added: “We are building on the tailoring side of the business and during the next few months we will be investing in a major refurbishment of our tailoring floor to complement our design capabilities.”
In preparation for the new space generated by the upcoming refurbishment, Psyche has expanded its stock.
More than 1,000 suits now are stocked at the store, ranging in price from £99, Psyche also has a popular made-to-measure department with more than 1,000 cloths to choose from.
