There are familiar faces this weekend as three players rack up second appearances of the campaign and a duo take their respective third starting five slots.
Rahmon Fletcher (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
The Eagles’ playmaker becomes just one of four players to have featured in our All Star Five three times this season. His latest berth came courtesy of 20 points against Sheffield Sharks, which came from a terrific 8 of 11 floor shooting display. A key player in the Eagles’ efforts to defend their various titles, Fletcher also had five assists, three rebounds and three steals.
Akeem Ellis (Cheshire Phoenix)
The Cheshire Phoenix ace could barely miss on a red-hot shooting night against Worcester. Ellis tore apart Wolves with a mesmerising 36 points, including a scintillating seven triples. He also added five assists and five rebounds, for the best performance of the weekend and joint-best of the entire season with a performance valuation of 37.
TrayVonn Wright (Leicester Riders)
The athletic Riders’ forward is back in our fantastic five for the third time this season, having also featured during weeks two and six. He carried his side to a victory against Glasgow Rocks with 21 points – once again showcasing his inside-outside skill set with four triples. He completed a sparkling double-double with 11 boards and swatted two shots.
Will Hall (Glasgow Rocks)
It’s the second time the British forward has grabbed a place in our line-up, with this latest slot drawn from a magnificent double-double against London Lions. Hall led Rocks with 13 points and 15 rebounds, while also completing a brilliant night of work with four assists and two blocked shots.
Scott Martin (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
It’s also a second berth for Martin too, with the forward being the main catalyst behind the Eagles’ win against Sheffield. He helped himself to 21 points after finding his touch from distance with five triples. In an all action effort, he also had seven rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks.
Off the bench – Perris Blackwell (Worcester Wolves), Jordan Williams (Manchester Giants), Rob Marsden (Leeds Force), Daryl Corletto (Plymouth University Raiders), Tyrone Lee (Bristol Flyers), Kai Williams (London Lions), Kieron Achara (Glasgow Rocks).
