Angeethi launched its one-to-one cookery classes, which offer people who are passionate about Indian cuisine the chance to taste, touch, smell and learn the secrets of traditional Indian cooking at its restaurant located in the heart of Low Fell.

During the three-hour introduction to Indian cooking student sous-chefs start with a lesson on using spices and herbs before receiving hands-on training from Angeethi’s head chef to prepare a starter, curry and rice/bread.

After feeling the heat in the kitchen, session members can then relax in the restaurant’s authentic Indian surroundings with a glass of wine whilst enjoying their aromatic creations before receiving a complimentary spice container to take away.

Angeethi – The Indian Family Kitchen launched the Spice Sunday masterclasses so those passionate about Indian food can learn the skills and time-tested methods to create authentic, traditional dishes from the comfort of their own home.

As well as receiving one-to-one training from our head chef, our student chefs also have the chance to try out their dishes in the restaurant after their class.

“As a traditional Indian family kitchen, our menu offers a considered selection of dishes from various regions of India that capture the true essence of the land and our Spice Sundays offer people the opportunity to try out new dishes, whilst learning under the guidance of our highly-trained staff.”
