Shoppers can ‘bag’ some cash for Christmas by trading in their unwanted handbags and accessories.
On Friday 9th December, Newcastle-based Lux Trader is holding Bag Friday – offering cash in return for handbags, watches and shoes, with an original value of £100 when new.
To trade in items for cash, vendors can email details of their item and receive a quote from Lux Trader in return.
They can then drop the item off at locations across the country or there is the LUX collection service provided on certain high end items. Payment is made once it has been authenticated by a team of experts – with Lux Trader guaranteeing payment in hours once the item has been authenticated.
“With Christmas around the corner, this is a great way of bagging some extra cash – and freeing up space in the wardrobe,” said commercial director, Christopher Harwood.
“Lots of people have shoes, handbags and watches they no longer want – particularly after Black Friday, when shoppers often get seduced by low prices and end up with impulse purchases they regret in the cold light of day.
“Unlike online auction sites, we can provide a quote – and cash – straight away – if the item is genuine.”
