The rise and rise of Newcastle native Lee Ridley AKA Lost Voice Guy shows no sign of letting up after a victorious appearance in the Britain’s Got Talent live semi-final on Monday this week that saw him not only reach the grand final, but also move to the bookies favourite to win the seminal TV talent show which is on Sunday 3rdJune.
Despite not being able to speak due to complications from cerebral palsy, Lost Voice Guy has risen through the comedy ranks, delivering his unique brand of self-depreciating humour through a voice synthesizer to leave audiences rolling in the aisles.
We are delighted to announce that Lost Voice Guy has been added to the South Tyneside Comedy Festival Line Up. He will be bringing his latest show: Inspiration Porn, to The Customs House on Saturday 28th July.
Festival director Jason Cook commented “I’ve known Lee for years and we’ve had him here at the comedy club a few times so we are all behind him ahead of the final, and I can’t wait to see his full show when he brings it to the festival, it’s going to be a real highlight”.
Lee said today: “
“I’m absolutely thrilled that the public has supported me and that I’ve got so far in this competition, it’s been a heck of a ride just being involved! I’m really looking forward to being part of the comedy festival at one of my favouritevenues, The Customs House – and I’m keeping everything crossed for a sell out!”
