Family footwear retailer Charles Clinkard has launched a UK-wide competition to find a youngster to become the star of its new ad campaign.

The nationwide company which has its headquarters in Middlesbrough is searching for one its own customers to be the smiling face of the campaign.

All parents or carers need to do is send a happy snap showing how excited their child is to be getting their first shoes – it could be the tot enjoying the expert foot measurement in the store, dropping off with their new shoes under the pillow or just a lovely natural photo of them!

Managing Director Charles Clinkard said: “Our first shoes model search has previously been a huge success – it gives mums, dads and carers the chance to record the moment for posterity.

“Internet sales are on the rise, for us at Charles Clinkard too, but you can’t beat the real life experience of getting your child’s growing feet measured in store and knowing they will always have properly fitted, comfortable – and stylish – shoes.”

“We’ve been providing children with their first shoes for generations and love to have our own customers as the face and feet of our campaigns.”

The winner will be photographed for adverts that will be rolled out across all of the Charles Clinkard stores as well as online. They will also receive free shoes for a year.

The winner will be chosen by a panel of Charles Clinkard footwear experts and will be invited to Clinkard’s HQ in Middlesbrough with their parents or carers.
