Capita’s North Tyneside Partnership and North Shields-based charity Meadow Well Connected have strengthened their links.
Employees working within Capita’s partnership with North Tyneside Council had already chosen Meadow Well Connected as their focus for fundraising and volunteering activities in 2018.
Now Capita and the charity have entered into a strategic partnership which commits both organisations to a longer-term relationship with each other.
Capita’s North Tyneside Partnership Director Richard Carmichael said: “I’m delighted to strengthen our ties with Meadow Well Connected.
“It’s a fantastic charity that is making a big difference to people’s lives on a daily basis and we’re looking forward to working more closely with them.
“We already have a great relationship with Norham High School nearby and our partnership with Meadow Well Connected further supports our commitment to the local community.”
Chris Armstrong, Operations and Finance Manager at Meadow Well Connected, said: “It’s more important than ever that we engage with the private sector to help ensure our long-term survival.
“Gaining a commitment from an organisation such as Capita is a real boost, not only in terms of their support but the expertise that they can provide as well.
“It demonstrates that Capita recognises the importance of social value and making a valuable contribution to the community.”
